I’m a speech therapy student form the Netherlands and I did my internship in Bali for 3 months. I arranged everything with the help of Internship Bali. They helped me with all the preparations: arranging my visa, residence, renting a motorbike, international drivers license, my internship, a language course Indonesian, an Indonesian telephone number and transport from the airport after arrival.
After you arrive in Bali, ‘Internship Bali’ is always there for you. When I arrived they gave me a very warm welcome and the house felt like home right away! Julie showed me around and brought me to my internship at the first day. I could ask Julie anything: about personal stuff, culture, etc. She also helped me with translating information for my internship, which really helped me to communicate better with the staff.
Working at a foundation with children who have a disability in Bali was really informative and exciting for me. It is nice to really get to know the culture and the local people. Internship Bali made the whole experience a lot easier and more fun.
During your time in Bali you will easily meet a lot of other international students who also are connected with Internship Bali!
